Tessallating shapes and construction

We have been learning all about Geometry and in particular tessellating shapes by having no gaps or overlaps.  We have learned to rotate and translate shapes as well in order to make a correctly tessellated shape.  Some of us got a little carried away with the construction of 3D shapes too.  Check this out.


And then ... the bigger, the better!

    Wow what amazing tessalations and constructions Room 11. The imagination and creativity that has gone into your constructions is fabulous. It must be so exciting learning all about different types of Maths in Room 12. From Mrs Dudley.
