Small Sticks Hockey

We have been really lucky to have Sport Canterbury come and take us for some Hockey training.  It's called Small Sticks and we had our first session last Friday with two more sessions to come.  It's great fun and we learned a lot on our first day about dribbling, passing the ball and of course how to score a goal.

I had taken a short video clip but I was unable to get it to upload.  Watch this space though, I will work on it.

Cultural Day 2015

On Thursday 12th March was the Ilam School International Cultural Day.  What a fabulous day it was too.  The children looked spectacular, the parents looked the same and the food was just brilliant.  It was really wonderful to see so many families come along to enjoy the event.  Look at our beautiful photo's.

 

Daisy's Writing

Not only is Daisy a great writer, she is also a fabulous artist.  Check this out.

At my home I have a cat and a dog.  Their names are Dougal and Robbie.  My cat is gray, my dog is light brown and white and they are fun to play with.  I love my pets!

Medha's writing

Room 12 have been producing some fabulous independent writing.  This gives us the opportunity to practice the new skills we learn.  Today's feature is by Medha.

My Dad is coming home from Australia on Thursday.  I really missed him.  He is getting me a Get up and Go Go Cat.  Her name is Daisy.  She has orange fur.  Purrrrrrrr!  I can't wait!  He went to the shop and bought it yesterday.  She has a pink and green collar and she has white around her mouth.  She has soft fur.  I saw her in the shop and I liked her.
